Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures: - No one declared a patent. AR Review: - Anders and Mike prepare a summit presentation on IQ status - Done New items: Review of IBIS Quality presentation at DAC IBIS summit meeting: - Anders: Michael Mirmak asked if we could add statistical methods - Michael then presented on statistical methods - Bob: The Mirmak presentation discussed FDM and ADM Discussion of Opal AMI: - Mike: Does the new Opal AMI proposal have any bearing on IBIS Quality? - Anders: This is a best practice document - For example, external models could have conflicts - Bob: This is probably not a topic for the IQ group - There is a question as to whether it is an IBIS document - Mike: Agree - Anders: This is not a standard, just best practices - If IBIS adopts it the name Opal would be dropped - The Opal document has a section on correlation - It requires documentation of correlation We looked at the 1DFSV correlation tool: - Anders: Why does it have both time and freq domains? - Mike: Maybe it assumes you give TD and it can do the FFT for you - Anders: We could invite Antonio to one of our meetings - Bob: Or maybe Alistair We looked at an IEEE paper using the 1D FSV tool - Bob: He uses the 85% rule - I don't get a good feeling about fair and poor grades - Mike: We should have other correlation issues to look at - Anders: For example DC offset - We could try sine waves and see what the tool does - Bob: A report to IBIS on this tool might be interesting - Moshiul's data starts with a wrong bit AR: Mike prepare demonstration of 1DFSV using Moshiul's test data Next meeting will be July 06 Meeting ended at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
